How Dallas airport's 'check-in of the future' will see passengers move seamlessly to plane using fingerprints and iris scans

How Dallas airport's 'check-in of the future' will see passengers move seamlessly to plane using fingerprints and iris scans | Mail Online: "Dallas International Airport is trialling a new scheme which should allow passengers to breeze straight through from the car-park to the runway without barely having to lift a finger.

Well, perhaps one finger - for the airport will use fingerprint scanners and iris scanners to hopefully remove the need for any security or queues.

Iris scanners look at the unique features of the coloured part of your eye - like a visual fingerprint

There are two drawbacks: you will need to give your biometric data - basically a scan of your eye and a fingerprint - and you will need to stump up a $179 fee.

But frequent travellers through the airport may find themselves as pioneers for something which may make the stress of the airports a thing of the past."
