Did a UFO land in a Tucson wash in October of 1967? - Paranormal Old Pueblo

Did a UFO land in a Tucson wash in October of 1967? - Paranormal Old Pueblo: "A story that persists with the older generation is the tale of a UFO landing in Tucson.

On October 9, 1967, a young boy riding his bicycle claimed that he witnessed a UFO land in a wash near Harrison Road and Speedway Boulevard.

Dr. James E. McDonald, a physicist and UFO researcher from the University of Arizona, arrived on the scene within 30 minutes. The incident would be classified as CE2 (Close Encounter of the 2nd kind). The boy at the scene reported that the UFO was cylindrical in shape and approximately 8 feet tall and 2.5 feet wide. The object was supported by two legs ending in round pads that were joined by a bar. The boy reported that as he approached the object, it “rose vertically with a deep, low-pitched hum”. The object left two impressions in the sandy wash (photo below)."
