Bruce Lahn Interview: "Dr. Bruce Lahn is the William B. Graham Professor of Human Genetics at the University of Chicago. As a student at the University of Beijing, he helped organize some of the first pro-democracy protests in the Chinese capital. By the time these protests evolved into the mass demonstration at Tiananmen Square in 1989, Lahn had moved to Harvard. Later, Dr. Lahn earned a PhD from MIT.
In addition to his scholarly titles, Dr Lahn is the founder and Scientific Director of the Center for Stem Cell Biology and Tissue Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China. The breadth of his work in two cultures also includes neurogenetics and mammalian biology."
