There are also plans to have a “frozen zoo” of cells taken from endangered species to use for the cloning process.
Dr Wani said that the frozen zoo is a storage facility where genetic material taken from animals is gathered and stored at very low temperatures, usually -196C.
He added the centre had so far cloned eight camels. Injaz, the first camel in the world to be cloned, celebrated her second birthday last month."
