Transhumanism Meets Design: Ethically Expanding Human Potential - PSFK

Transhumanism Meets Design: Ethically Expanding Human Potential - PSFK: "Humanity+ is a nonprofit organization that researches and advocates developments in technology that ethically expands human potential. In partnership with Parsons The New School for Design, the organization is presenting a conference called Transhumanism Meets Design, with the goal of exploring how design can be applied to uses of technology that better impact the human condition.

One of the attending speakers is Natasha Vita-More, a media artist and lecturer at the University of Plymouth. As a role model for superlongevity, Natasha’s research focuses on the prolongation of personhood beyond biology as a central tenet of human enhancement. We were able to capture her thoughts surrounding design and emerging technology below."
