Doctor Oz said that foods are being genetically changed to grow faster and to resist disease, but when he polled his audience, 80% of them said they would not buy packaged foods with Genetically Modified Organisms or GMO ingredients. My personal observation on this poll result is that, notwithstanding consumer preferences for foods not containing GMO (at least in the studio audience), unless you exclusively buy organic products, you cannot be assured that food you buy for your family will not contain GMO ingredients."
