Indian government launches Central Monitoring System, watches citizens' calls, emails and internet activity: "A new system for monitoring almost everything that's going on inside India's telecoms network has been quietly launched. The Central Monitoring System will offer the likes of the National Investigation Agency and tax arms of the government the ability to scrutinize phone calls, emails, text messages and even your online presence."
