Robot Hand Grasps Firmly, Gently : Discovery News: "A big issue with robot hands is that making them as dextrous as a human requires lots of motors and components that don't necessarily all fit into the space of a hand. But researchers at Saarland University with associates in Bologna and Naples have developed a robotic hand that's gentle and dextrous enough to hold an egg. They presented the device at a recent meeting at the Forschungszentrum Informatik in Karlsruhe."
