Planet X and the Star of Bethlehem

Planet X and the Star of Bethlehem: "Many passages in the Bible use astral imagery, but by far the most prominent appearance of a star is in Matthew 2, where a Star announces the birth of Christ. This Star was followed by a group of wise men called “Magi” who came from the east, men whom we now know to be Persian astrologers — philosophers and scientists renowned throughout the ancient world for their expertise in understanding the night sky. These men had inherited ancient astronomical traditions that had been handed down for millennia, traditions that may have dated from the earliest days of Sumer, possibly even from the days before the Flood. Thus, by mentioning their presence at the Nativity, Matthew was basically saying that no less than the world’s most esteemed authorities on the subject of heavenly signs and portents had recognized the Star of Bethlehem as the Sign that the Son of God had been born."
